Thread Mount RTD Temperature probe PT100 Pt1000 for Coffee Machine

Pt1000 sensors are suitable for use in applications with 2 wire circuit configurations. While Pt100 sensors are usually designed in a 3 wire configurations to eliminate error interference from circuit itself.

Since the Pt1000 sensor has much greater resistance, the distorting effect of the resistance in the lead wires is less significant overall because it makes up a smaller percentage of the total resistance in the circuit.
